2021 fleur
i started painting flowers a few years ago. and lately i have been going to town with them for an upcoming show with my very good friend Jen Denzin, its in october. fleur de rouge is at the gaffa gallery in sydney from 21st october to 1st november 2021. it is sooooo exciting to be working towards something tangible, i think for years i have been floating about painting this and that, but having a directive has given me a real focus, this is most awesome! well, I think it is, anyhow.

as i studied philosophy in 2021, i thought i would incorporate these fellows into my practice, they became a part of the show being that many are from Europe, are wise and their borders contain elements of rouge floral fantasy that relates to the art garden. being able to express and display other parts of my world that makes one question and ask why? is always a healthy disposition to be in.
